Brunei: Wushu Duo Strikes Silver

Roslan brothers Md Sufi Shayiran and Mohammad Adi Sya'rani struck Brunei's only medal of the 3rd Islamic Solidarity Games after winning silver in the duilian (dual event) yesterday a fitting close to the end of the country's campaign in Palembang, Indonesia. 

The duo, who are only 15, picked up silver after registering 9.30 points with Iran taking gold with 9.40 and Yemen bronze with 9.25.

Koko/Chandra pada pertandingan terakhir Pool B di Arena Voli Pantai Jakabaring, Kamis sore, menaklukkan Tim Qatar 1 (Abdel Aziz/Tamer) dengan skor 2-1 (21-12, 8-21, 19-21).

Hingga hari terakhir menjelang Penutupan ISG 2013, persaingan makin ketat di 5 level teratas. Saat ini Indonesia masih bertahan di posisi pertama, dengan total 100 medali. Namun Malaysia naik ke peringkat ke-3 setelah Mesir. Sementara Turki terdepak ke urutan 5 digeser oleh Iran yang kini ambil posisi ke-4.

The Indonesian national Under-23 team had to settle for the silver medal when they fell to a 2-1 loss to Morocco in the final of the Islamic Solidarity Games 2013 that was played last night at the Jakabaring Stadium here in Palembang.
