Jordan: No Medals for Karate Team

Jordan’s karate team has finished empty handed in the individual events at the 3rd Islamic Solidarity Games in Indonesia.

In Day Two’s action, Bashar Al Najjar lost his second match to a Saudi opponent before Mohammad Al Reqi also lost in his category to the eventual gold medallist.

Moutasembellah Abu Zaid beat the world No. 3 from Egypt on his way to gold, and Jordan’s first medal of the event, and eventually beat a Saudi Arabian in the final, 6-0, in the 54kg weight.
