Women of Indonesia national basketball team beated Egypt by winning 78-69 on Islamic Solidarity Games III in Sport Convention Center Palembang, Tuesday (17/9).
It became the second victory, after the prime matched last Sunday (15/9) conquered Qatar with a score 88-45. On that matched, the host team got resistance from Qatar since the first half.
Egypt national team captain, Alaaeldin Ola, was capable motivating her counterparts not off guard for their score so always stick to tight in scramble for points.
Thus on a last round, Egypt equalized the score into 66-66, exactly three minutes before the game was over by utilized the loosing concentration of Indonesia squad.
Nevertheless, at the end the host team capable of being out of pressure and closed the game with a score 78-69.
Meanwhile, Indonesia hunt score are dominated by two players – Cristaline Natasha Deby (20 points) and Rachmawati Nur (19 points).
“Egypt team was playing so good, it proved end of the quarter they able to equalized. But i said to the team to keep focuss on the defence”, said Tru Adiloka, the coach of national basketball women team.
The branch of sports basketball be opening on ISG, remember that event will officialy opened on 22 September 2013. As many as five countries are competing of medals in men’s group i.e Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Palestine. Whereas in women’s group followed by Indonesia, Qatar, and Egypt.
