Hassan Mohamed, Benkaddour Sanaa Through to Quarters

Algerian tennis players Mohamed Hassen and Sanaa Amaria Benkaddour qualified on Wednesday for the quarterfinals of singles tournament of 2013 Islamic Solidarity Games in Palembang.
 
Hassan has easily eliminated Omani Al-Zadjali Saleh Ghaz in two sets (6-1, 6-2) while Benkaddour won over Yemeni Al-Olfi Shaema 6-1, 6-2.

Besides, Mohamed Hassan will face Indonesian Adi Nugroho Wishnu who lost against Saudi Al-Saad Fahad at quarter finals while the Turkish tennis women Bayraktaroglu Melis will face Sanaa Benkaddour.

The third Algerian tennis player Benkaddour Nihed has been eliminated by Malaysian Chua An Ping Aslina (7-6, 6-2).

The national coach Brahim Zineddine, who has been satisfied with individual tournaments, said his players "can do better", adding that they "do not know how to manage their efforts".
