was followed by two Malaysian weightlifters.
Syrian
weightlifter Ahd Jgheili also won the gold medal in 105 kg category as
he snatched 166 kg and had a clean and jerk of 210 kg, coming ahead of
the Egyptian and Iraqi weightlifters who came second and third
respectively.
Earlier, Bushra Mohammad won the bronze medal in weightlifting in 69 kg category.
In
athletics, Syria's first silver medal went to Majd Ghazal in high jump
at 220 cm, while swimmer Ayman Kalziyeh won the bronze medal at the 400 m
individual medley.
