The opening of The 3rd Islamic Solidarity Games in Palembang, South Sumatra on September 22nd, 2013, is ready to held. The comittee has been preparing for a successful that sports feast for a number of Islamic states.
The 4th Deputy Chairman of The Organizing Field of Islamic Solidarity Games (ISG), Ahmad Najib told to reporters in Palembang on Friday (09/06). He said that his side had prepared in the performance of the opening ceremony of the Sports Feast for that Islamic countries."The Committee was prepared so that the execution of the opening is not a problem any more," he added.
However, he said, their side now still waiting for confirmation that President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono would come in the opening of the ISG, as the guest of honor that must be served and place the President specifically includes of security.
Therefore, President and all staff are still waiting for the heads of states of other countries which will come in sports feast for that Islamic countries’s participants.The Opening Ceremony of the 3rd Islamic Solidaity Games event will be held at the Jaka Baring Main Stadium, and will present the arts, culture with Islamic overtones.
Expected duration for this event is 6 hours and will be opened at 16:00 am with a variety of local arts, choir, and marching band from Indonesia performing schools. As South Sumatra will
implement the ISG which followed by thousands of guests from 44
countries plus observer countries representatives.
This sport
games event will be played 13 sports including swimming, volleyball,
soccer, basketball, taekwondo, archery, athletics, badminton, weight
lifting, wushu, tennis and karate.
After the official opening ceremony attended by President, and ISSF officials, heads of state and representatives of the State INAISGOC participants and organizers, athletes will be followed by a procession of participants, followed by a procession of flags and a spectacular entertainment program with a wide range of dance, singing of the leading artists and closed with a spectacular fireworks attraction.
